| For many years, Weserland GmbH has been a competent and reliable partner for the fabrication of finished products. Subcontracting services focus on compounding of aqueous dispersions and solutions for a wide variety of technical applications and powder mixtures. Compounding services are not offered for systems containing organic solvents.
 Compounding
The production of aqueous compounds includes all types of polymer dispersions, the respective additives such as anti-foaming agents, thickening or anti-static agents, wetting agents etc., as well as wadding or flame protection. Other aqueous systems, such as solutions containing salts or polyvinyl acetates are also part of our compounding service.
Pasting
Another specialty service is the production of pastes containing antimony trioxide in non-aqueous systems, such as softening agents (e.g. DINP) that are used in the plastics industry. Apart from the classic mixtures made in suitable reactors, bead mills are also available turn coarse base material into fine aqueous dispersions, such as the ones used as vulcanization pasts for latex systems.
Powder mixes
Weserland offers subcontracted powder mixes, using a conical screw mixer, for example. The special mixing process produces homogeneous and reproducible powder blends with a volume of up to 800 l (depending on bulk density). With the optional addition of an intensifier, liquids can be applied to the powder surface. The system is certified according to ATEX Zone 21. In addition, with the addition of nitrogen, the mixer can be rendered inert, in order to avoid other explosion protection measures.

Processing (environmentally) hazardous or corrosive substances is no problem for Weserland. Dealing with such substances is our daily business, and all necessary precautions and protective measures are in place.
Raw materials and auxiliaries needed for the subcontracted production of mixes and compounds can be procured by the customer or Weserland, depending on the agreement.
Volumes for the various subcontracted products differ, ranging from 500 kg to 20,000 kg. In order to supply larger amounts, several production runs may be combined into one charge.
The finished compounds, powder mixes etc. can be packaged in almost all regular containers according to the customer’s wishes. This includes plastic canisters or vats, as well as containers with a volume of 1,000 l (IBC). Naturally, we also offer the option of delivering the goods unpackaged, in a tank truck.
