Supron® N 8716 is used as a coating agent for natural fibres, chiefly animal hairs and/or coconut fibres. A rubbery councing of the fibre material is produced with the typical characteristics of natural latex. After vulcanisation, springy properties are obtained. The film is soft and flexible.

In addition to good stability in storage, Supron® N 8716 also has good mechanical and chemical stability such that this product can also be applied in a spraying process. This should be done out of pressure vessels with atomisation by means of compressed air. If Supron® N 8716 is to be delivered by pumps, we advise using compressed air diaphragm pumps.

The viscosity of Supron® N 8716 can be adjusted with Wesopret® A 2 (Acrylate thickening agent). For a wetting agent, use Supronil® HN 48 and for an antifoaming agent, use Supronil® HE 28. However, we generally recommend testing the compatibility through preliminary testing. The mechanical stability can be boosted by using Slipol® U 55.

How to store and discharge
Be sure to note that to obtain a homogenous product, with systems containing solids it is necessary to stir up the container before each discharge. When stored in storage tanks, there should be an intermittent stirring apparatus or a stirring apparatus that runs slowly.
