Supron® U 3347 can be used with all common application methods. To change its properties, dispersions in the Supron® series can be used. Any corrections necessary in pH-value should be taken into account. Wetting agents (Supronil® HN 48), antifoaming agents (Supronil® HS or HE-series), weighting materials as well as dyes (Supron® dyes) and thickening agents (Wesopret® series) can also be added. We advise, however, always testing the compatibility by preliminary testing.

At room temperature, the cross-linked film is soft, elastic and non-tacky. It is insoluble in water and resistant to many acids and lyes. In organic solvents, its is nearly insoluble. Its good resistance to light, weather and aging is outstanding. Thermal treatment is necessary to obtain complete cross-linking. We advise a short time period at 130°-160° C. The exact conditions have to be geared to the textile used. The cross-linking is acid-catalysed and can be accelerated by adding phosphoric acid (approx. 10 g/l of a 10% solution based on the dispersion).

How to store and discharge
When well-sealed and protected against frost and great heat, Supron® U 3347 can be stored for six months. When in use, storage and transport, avoid contacting with any metals not protected against corrosion (including nonferrous metals).
