Supron®
Finishing and coating agents
for polishing wheels

Long service lives Defined final quality of handle

Product description

Polishing wheels made of textile material (fabric layers and rope packing) contain an impregnation to increase service life during polishing. Depending on the requirements, finishes are needed with varying final qualities of handle, from hard to very soft and elastic. We have modified our Supron® dispersions based on various polymers to meet these requirements accordingly. They are applied primarily in a dipping process, the surplus finishing bath then being suctioned off or centrifuged off. The finish deposited depends on the final quality of handle required. Drying is done at 50°-80° C, depending on the material (drying chamber or forced-air oven). As standing baths are frequently reused and/or concentrated to a greater degree with finishing agents required, it is advisable to add so-called in-can preservatives.
