Auxiliaries for aqueous systems
Anti-foaming agent Pore regulator Wetting agent
Product description
Supronil® H is a general term for auxiliaries used to improve production characteristics.
Supronil® HS 18, a pore regulator, improves the uniformity of the cell structure in gelled latex foams. The exact dosing depends on the components of the recipe and has to be determined in preliminary testing.
The typical quantities used are 0.1%-0.3%, based on the amount of wet latex used.
Supronil® HE 28 is a highly effective anti-foaming agent for aqueous systems in which a low amount of silicon does not have any disruptive effect. Before being used in production, the compatibility and quantity of Supronil® HE 28 used has to be checked with the other components of the recipe. The typical quantities used are 0.05%-0.2%.
Supronil® HN 48 is a wetting agent for textile finishes to improve the wetting of textiles with the finishing bath. The quantity used is 0.05%-0.5%.
