Application
Wesocon® L 5613-1 will be used to improve cationic bitumen emulsions for treating surfaces in road construction. Wesocon® L 5613-1 can be used with all common methods of application in cold bitumen processes.
Application advice
Even when it is cold, the film is characterised by very high flexibility as well as medium-good water resistance. Due to the natural consistence the polymer film has very good strength while being able to stretch and so displays high elasticity.
Adding Wesocon® L 5613-1 to bitumen emulsions increases their strength, toughness and ductility as well as the softening point, low-temperature flexibility and resistance to aging.

How to store and discharge
Be sure to note that to obtain a homogenous product, with systems containing solids it is necessary to stir up the container before each discharge. When stored in storage tanks, there should be an intermittent stirring apparatus or a stirring apparatus that runs slowly.
