Change in Management
Mr. Roy Schnau relieved on September 01, 2005 Mr. Jürke Merkel in the Business Management.
During more than 33 years, and over 15 years in active company management, Mr. Merkel had a decisive influence on Weserland's development.
In particular his competence and expert knowledge are the outstanding features with which he acquired high esteem with customers and suppliers on the one hand, and company employees on the other.
We are therefore extremely pleased that Mr. Merkel will continue to place his expertise and know-how at the disposal of the company in the role of a consultant.
His successor as business manager will be Mr. Roy Schnau, who has been responsible for special sales and marketing activities in the company since 5 years. As a trained commercial businessman with a technical background, and apart from intensive customer care in our established markets, his main fields of activity will be territorial expansion and strategic market orientation, as well as product development.
